The student-teacher ratio is outstanding-approximately 13 students for each teacher. Public schools in the city are first rate. Post-secondary educational facilities are numerous, including nearby Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College and the University of Wisconsin, River Falls.

Hudson also provides plenty of ways for locals and visitors to spend their money. Unique specialty shops, antique stores, luxurious day spas, quaint bed-and-breakfasts, restaurants and pubs are housed within the town’s many historic buildings. Those looking for shopping on a larger scale can visit the Woodbury Mall in St. Paul, just 15 minutes away.
